Insurance coverage is often an issue of concern to patients with immune disease and their families. It is important to learn as much as possible about all the options and resources available to you. Baxter offers services specifically designed to assist you with these issues.
Baxter's Department of Healthcare Economics offers education, support and advocacy to patients and their healthcare providers, acting as a resource to those who rely on our therapies.
Baxter is also pleased to provide the GammAssist Program, a way for eligible users of Baxter's Immune Globulin Intravenous (Human) therapies to continue to receive their Immune Globulin without charge in the event of a lapse in private insurance.
Baxter has provided funding for development of the Immune Deficiency Foundation (IDF) Patient/Family Handbook. In the chapter “Insurance for Primary Immune Deficiency: Taking Control” you will find information about all types of insurance and coverage resources, public and private, as well as a glossary of insurance terms.
